“If I could give Stacey 100 stars, I would! For anyone who has sold or purchased a home, you know how stressful it can be! There are so many moving parts; it’s like dominoes. If one piece falls, the rest goes with it! My husband and I have purchased and sold a few homes (I thought I just couldn’t be happy living in any of those), and the process was always fine. I thought everyone did a great job and was good with the outcome. When my husband and I were ready to buy a home in the Treasure Valley, it was in the THICK of the housing boom, but we were confident. I knew I wanted to work with Stacey because I knew her personally, and I had heard she was pretty good at her job, so why not? We found a handful of houses we wanted to look at. She spent the day driving us around to these places and found one we really liked! We put in an offer (wasn’t a super strong offer, and of course someone was able to pay cash for the property, which we couldn’t compete with). That’s when Stacey suggested we look into building. That hadn’t totally crossed our minds, we thought maybe only rich people could afford to do something like that. After all, we were only putting 5% down… We scheduled a meeting with a builder that Stacey recommended. Before we knew it, we were under contract with them! Something I learned about the building process, is that there are A LOT of meetings. Meetings on site, meetings at the design studio, meetings about meetings. My husband and I both work full time, so it wasn’t exactly the most convenient. But guess who was at EVERY.SINGLE.MEETING? Guess who offered to be the “bad guy” when something was not being done right and needed to be fixed. Guess who instead of working with their clients for a month or two while they bought their home, was available to use for THIRTEEN months? Yes, that’s right. Stacey King. I never once felt like I was unimportant to her as a client. I never once questioned her loyalty to us versus the builder who she will work with numerous times again. I never once felt like I couldn’t ask her a question. There was no lack of communication. Shutout to her team as well for keeping us on track with everything, and reminding us when we had a meeting, because I think a few times we forgot! Long story longer, Stacey was the realtor I didn’t know I was missing until I worked with her. Read that again. Like I mentioned, I have bought and sold homes before and thought I was satisfied. But this was something amazing.
